The chronology
Born and raised in Tårnby, suburban Copenhagen, Denmark.
Youngest brother of 3. Although we are geographically quite spread, the family bonds remain as strong as they are important to me.
Today it's a Meny, but back in 1990 it was Lanner's Prima. Worked outside of school hours for 10 years in all thinkable roles.
Joined the Jutland Dragoon Regiment in Holstebro, aged 19. After 3 months as a recruit, I was sent to Sergent's School in Sønderborg.
1999-2002: Accepted into the Royal Army Officers Academy, graduating 13th of 79 cadets.
1999-2006: In my spare time, I acted as both Center Manager and Spinning + Boxing instructor in the fitness chain SATS.
2002-2005: Spent two years in a Tank Squadron, then project lead on implementing a newer, upgraded version.
2005-2006: Brought First Aid in the battlefield up to date by heading all educational programs for the Danish Army. Core elements remain mandatory today.
Pursuing a civilian career after 10 years in the Army
Going into my thirties, Family and roots became my priority. And becoming a twin-father taught me endurance I thought I had already pushed to the limit in the Army, whilst my curiosity remained intact.
In my Army spare time I had studied a Diploma in Business, Marketing Mangement (HD), which brought me to a 4 year stint at L'Oréal in both Supply Chain and Sales. This is where I learned what I would call the new generation of Key Account Management.
In 2010 I was headhunted as part of a major acquisition in Denmark, and ended up working in Sales, a short project in Marketing and then in Supply Chain, heading the Planning Team in Denmark and representing Nordics for Home & Personal Care. I ended up coming back to Sales, heading the entire Sales Admin team.
